The children celebrated Family day by building a house using lolly sticks, they painted the lolly sticks and drew pictures of their family members. They all discussed the importance of having a family.
The theme for this term in the after school club was the sea, the land and the sky. For the sea, the children enjoyed making 3D sailing boats and creating dolphins using paints. For the sky, they made beautiful hot air balloons using finger painting. Finally for the land, the children made sunflowers using pasta and paint and some lovely butterflies were created with scrap paper and wool.
