In English lessons, the children in Year 3 read a story about a boy being transported back in time to the Stone Age. There he met a girl called Om and they spent time together sharing activities that were done in the Stone Age such as, fishing and hunting using spears made from flint, cleaning and using animal skin for clothes and homes and creating cave paintings from powdered rock. The boy was then transported back home. The children, for their writing, imagined that they were transported to the Stone Age and they met a character called Ug and they had to write about all the things that they did together.
