Important information about ParentPay

Our school operates an online payment system called ParentPay which allows all parents to make payments for school meals, trips, morning care and after school care, and other activities via a secure online website. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments by debit card whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest Internet security available.

When your child starts at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School you will be issued with your secure account log-in details in order to use ParentPay and make your bookings. If you do not have this or have forgotten them, please contact a member of the school's Administrative Team. If you haven't already done so, please activate your account.

Booking your child's meal

Menus can be found when booking your child's meal which is located when clicking on ‘make or view bookings' located under the ‘Make Meal Bookings' tab. Dinner choices must be made by the Thursday prior to the following week. Please note that, if choices are not made in advance, then parents/carers will need to provide packed lunches for your child. After school care must also be booked at least two days in advance. Any child not collected promptly at the end of the school day will be put into our After School Care Club for which payment will be expected. There is no charge for school meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

If your child receives Free School Meals you still need to activate your ParentPay account in order to make your child's lunch choices. All hot lunches must be ordered via ParentPay, irrespective of whether payment is required, and these can be booked a whole term in advance. Bookings must be made in advance for Breakfast Club, Morning Care and After School Care.

The ParentPay website can also be used on mobile phones or tablets enabling parents to quickly see dinner money balances, top-up their children's accounts, view and pay for school items and receive alerts and communications from school.

The school operates a cashless system and all payments into school must be made this way. This is our only form of payment, particularly with regard to trips and activities.

Don't forget, when making your bookings directly on ParentPay you must click on the ‘Confirm' button so that your order is saved and the payment needed will then be in your trolley for payment.
