In English this term, Year 2 have been using the book ‘The Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes. Using this as inspiration we have written about the characters in the book, showed our understanding of the text through guided reading sessions and ended by creating our own version of the space-bat-angel-dragon and writing a character description of it.
For a different piece of writing, we then wrote a recount of our two move-up mornings to our new classes.
