On Thursday 7th November some children from Year 5 took part in their first session of Mini Police with 2 PCSOs from the Wiltshire Police. They learned about what a policeman’s or policewoman’s duties are. They had a chance to try on some of the equipment that the police have such as hi-vis jackets. They also went outside to look at the police car and even sat in it with the sirens on! The children found out what they will learn over the year. Our parents also came in to watch us make our promise to do our best as a Mini Police Officer.
