In English, we have been reading and watching versions of Shakespeare’s famous play, Macbeth. We have been hooked on the story and what would happen next. It has been the focus of our writing this term. To help us understand more about Macbeth’s actions, we acted as his conscience during a drama activity where half of us were his good inner voice telling him why he shouldn’t kill King Duncan, whilst the other half of the class were the devil’s voice urging him to ‘do the deed’ and to ‘fulfil the witches prophecies’!
