On July 2nd, KS1 had a visit from an illustrator of children's picture books as part of Careers Week.
Lauren Austin told us about the books that she draws pictures for and all about the kinds of things she has to do for her job. All children listened carefully and had some wonderful questions to ask Lauren about illustrating and being an author.
Very kindly, Lauren gave the school 10 of her Bean the Bear's Bon Voyage books and we are all eagerly starting to read them already!
