During our Creation topic, and linked to the Catholic Social Teaching theme of Stewardship, Year 5 pupils visited the Richard Jefferies Museum near Coate Water. This was at the end of a month-long event at the museum called Small Change which encouraged people to help the environment by making small changes in their lives. We walked there and back (2 miles each way). The children learnt that Nature Can Provide – including the materials to make houses, tools and food.
