We live in an ever-changing, digital world with children increasingly having access to the internet. Keeping safe online is a vital part of safeguarding the pupils at Holy Cross Primary School. We actively teach children about keeping safe online through our e-safety curriculum which is planned as part of Computing and RHE. 
We follow the Purple Mash scheme for Computing which uses Childnet resource to promote e-safety.

Useful websites to support parents with safer internet usage Using the internet can make learning fun, fast and easy. Whether researching a school project, chatting with friends or playing a game, you can help your child surf safely and feel confident about learning online. The following sites offer help to keeping you and your child safe online:
UK Safer Internet Centre	Hotline for reporting and removing sexual images of children online. Protecting children is at the heart of everything we do.
	If you are worried about the way someone has been communicating with your child online, you can make a report to one of the CEOP's Child Protection Advisors. You can do this via their website.
